La Madeleine - San Antonio

We always enjoy the food here but we had forgotten why we chose to other locations until we returned for the first time tonight. Friendliness and clean tables will go along way but that is very middle ground at this location.

I have ordered take out a couple of times from this place. The food is delicious, especially their salmon and chicken w/ mushroom sauce bundles. Sadly, their service isn't the best. I have had multiple issues where the salad is missing from thebundle (seems like a common issue based on other reviews). On top of that, today's service was horrible. The cashier was prettyrude with an attitude that she didn't want to be there and to put the cherry on the cake, I found multiple long hairs in myFrench vanilla fruit parfait. I am disappointed since the food is really good but, the service and possible sanitation, isn'tgreat.

There was a short line but the gentleman at register took order and got it right. I ordered a cranberry, pecan spinach salad with balsamic vinaigrette and it's was delicious. Oh also glass of blush wine wasn't thrilled with that. Overall great serviceand salad was amazing! I'll be back. I wanted to post pictures.

I'm in love with la Madeleine's nouveau breakfast. It's simply eggs, bacon, and avocado toast, and it hits the spot. This was my first visit to this location and it was well maintained. All the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a quiet and comfortablespot to get breakfast.

Of course the food was good, but the cashier was very sour and a bit rude by rushing me and her attitude was, I don 't want to be here her name was Eunice. If I see her again I 'll go somewhere else. Also too expensive. I think I 'll have to make it athome!!!
