Yama Sushi is a hidden gem located on a quiet side street in Ingleside. Despite its somewhat out-of-the-way location, this restaurant offers incredible value. They have a wide variety of nigiri and rolls to choose from, with most nigiri priced at $1.50 and rolls at $4. The quality of the sushi here surpasses that of more expensive places. Specials like the sushi combo (8 pieces of nigiri for $9) and the bento box (3 items of your choice with rice/noodles, miso soup, and salad for $12) are also great deals. The service can be a bit slow at times, as it is hard to grab the server's attention in the small dining room. However, when they do come over, the service is friendly and efficient. Despite its off-the-beaten-path location, Yama Sushi is conveniently close to public transportation, making it easily accessible for diners.

The service is consistently fast, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. I will definitely come back to this place next time I am in the area.

This was the worst experience. They included ice cold soda in my order with hot sushi rolls. I know that delivery can result in the food not being super warm, but this was unacceptable.
