Pailin Thai Cafe - San Andreas

I always bring my friends to this restaurant when they visit. The yellow curry here is the best I've had at any Thai restaurant in San Diego. The wait times are short and the food is delicious!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The authentic Thai cuisine and laid-back ambiance made for a delightful evening. The owner was attentive and gracious, adding to the overall great service. I visited for dinner on a Saturday and was impressed by the flavorful dishes and diverse menu options. I definitely plan on returning in the future.

I am deducting two stars for the staff. Our waitress was unfriendly and abrupt, possibly due to being overworked since she appeared to be the only one on duty. Despite thanking her for bringing food and refilling drinks, she remained silent with a sour expression. Service was slow, with larger parties that arrived after us receiving their orders and food before my friend and I did. The owner seemed pleasant but mistakenly gave us the wrong bill, which had to be corrected. Overall, the restaurant has potential to be excellent, but the staff's shortcomings make it only okay to good. I have ordered takeout from them multiple times before, and they have always been very good with that.

Came around 3 during weekday. Not crowded after all. The noodle dishes we tried were delicious. They even had angel wings here. However, they didn't grind the chicken meat as well as some places I've been to. Think this place is a family owned. They did have some kids running around think it was their lunch time). If you don't mind that, I would try this place out.

This place is really good and affordable. Will be coming back soon.
