Paesanos - River Walk - San Andreas

My husband and I went to San Antonio Riverwalk for a weekend getaway from Austin last Oct. It was the Halloween so we learned there would be a river parade and could expect very crowded in that area. Around 6 many places started to put up barricade to avoid access. People managing those were rude and bot helpful for visitors like us. We walked around to find places to sit down and dine while watching the parade. This is the restaurant we considered dining last March but picked something else randomly. They arranged a table for us close to the river. The waiter was very courteous and professional. We ordered meatball for appetizer and seafood for entrees. My choice was Frutti di Mare.. what can I say.. it was one of the best seafood with lobster I had so far in Texas! The other place that I had an unforgettable experience is Red Ash in Austin downtown. Love the meatball too, great atmosphere and service! We are visiting San Antonio again in Feb and this is the only restaurant we will go for a one-night dinner!
