Manora's Thai Cuisine - San Andreas

Old School for sure, but good food and very friendly service. Can't believe I've lived in the neighborhood for almost 20 years and never tried this place!

First time trying this spot and I came during lunch time. It’s a spacious restaurant but somehow it feels kind of cozy. I ordered the two item lunch combination which comes with a side of Tom kha soup which was flavorful and aromatic, perfect for the cold weather. For the two items I got their grilled bbq chicken which came with two drum sticks that were marinated in primarily lemongrass, I thought the flavor was okay, the portion is on the smaller side and I wish they charred it more. The other item I got was the sliced beef in a salty savory sweet marinade, this one had a much more bolder flavor which goes perfectly with the fried rice they give you. I think for the amount of food you get it is a little pricey but I was satisfied overall.

1st visit. Stopped in before a nearby meeting. First thing I hear are the Grateful Dead is gently playing. Terrapin Station. Ordered the Pad Thai shrimp. Came quick, tasted delicious!

Staff is wonderful. It is always a pleasure to eat here.
