La Gran Terraza University of San Diego

Gran Terraza had a prefixed Valentine's Day menu experience that was not advertised or indicated on open table. I booked this restaurant for a Valentine's Day dinner as other places offered an experience and I wanted to avoid that and was surprised that this was not specified on their website or on an open table. The appetizers were far below average. We had limited options on order and parts were incredibly small. I had the scallops and it wasn't well cooked and smells bad. Very disappointed with food and service. I will not recommend

La Gran Terraza is delicious! Their regular restaurants and special events are both worth trying. Great service and outlook included!

Can't believe I have never tried this restaurant before it was so good. The presentation amazing and the service (darling college students) was superb. Wish they were open for dinner as I would bring all of my friends.

Lovely room...OK but a little to bright....softer lighting would make it warmer. The table setting was lovely and the servers were very polite. The salmon course was very nice which complimented the wines. The next course of meat was tough . A small filet migon would have been a much nicer selection. First time to this restaurant and will try another wine dinner .

As always, just another really nice wine dinner, has to be the best value in town. Already committed to another one in March.
