Bidrage med feedbackIchiban is the top choice for affordable sushi in the area. They use fresh ingredients and offer great specials that can't be beat. For just $8, you can enjoy a 14 piece boat with a mix of rolls and nigiri, along with miso soup. Their spicy mayo, made with jalapenos, sets them apart from other places and adds a unique twist to their dishes. Don't miss out on Ichiban PB's monthly special for even more amazing deals at this conveniently located sushi spot.
Since then. One of the best not only Sushi and Japanese restaurants in PB, but everywhere in SAN DIEGO! What a hidden gem, same personable employee and owner for a long time and the quality of the food has never changed, it has even become better. Five stars, fresh food and the best service, delicious food.
How this place remains open and a 4.4 on cards keeps me shocked. This must be one of the worst places in the PB area. I ordered the baked salmon Benton with chickens Teriyaki while my friend ordered Salmon with Sashimi. The salmon was Blande, literally only salt, no pepper, no sauce, nothing. It looked so pale as if it just got a failed operation. The tuna sashimi was fish and unfresh, perhaps directly from the freezer. The chicken Teriyaki was salty and hard, seemingly reheated several times. The shrimp empura was coated like a breadstick, the dough is thicker than the shrimps themselves, and why did you serve it with tartaric acid sauce? It's supposed to be Japanese, not British Fish N chips! Avoid this place at all costs, there are so many good choices around. Would never recommend 1 out of 10.
I guess I haven't eaten here since Kurt Cobain still lived, but the chicken teriyaki is as good as it ever was.
I must believe this is for desperate tourists. The food tastes and looks like it was made in a microwave. I had better sushi in a gas station. I was 6 months in SD and this is by far the worst food I have? ve had since I?ve been here ..
