Bidrage med feedbackA very quaint and relaxing place to enjoy a meal. Friendly staff and the coffee and food were delicious. We will be back for sure.
Have been here on a few occasions, most recent visit until today was a year ago and it was fantastic had an amazing breakfast but how things have changed. Not sure if under new ownership but went for Mother’s Day breakfast and it was below average, very disappointing. It came out frightening fast which always worries me that it’s literally sat in the side waiting for someone to order it so they can serve it. This cafe always used to be packed but noticed it wasn’t today, it felt very run down. Toilet was also very grim. Won’t be rushing back.
The atmosphere at the restaurant is beautiful. Unfortunately, the corn fritters were dry and the kale chips were like dust. They definitely needed a relish.
It’s a lovely building full of old timber and stained glass with loads of character and potential. The food was mediocre. The cheapest white burger buns , stale, the Japanese chicken burger tasteless and the fried egg burnt around the edges. Cooked frozen chips and coleslaw from a supermarket. The ‘chef’ dressed in grubby jeans and a woollen tartan like hat Very disappointing. We will not visit again.
My experience at Flying Nun was very disappointing. Several menu items were not available, and the wait for food was extremely long, 45 minutes. The restaurant was busy, but not at full capacity. One dish was average and disappointing, while the other had gone off, resulting in a bitter taste. Although I did receive a refund for the bad dish, the overall experience was not good. I will not be returning to this place. It could benefit from a thorough cleaning and update, and management needs to improve.
