Samford Seafood - SAMFORD VILLAGE

Super expensive for poor quality.. Salad consisted of some 4 day old soggy lettuce, some un cut cherry tomatoes and slimey red onion, thats IT! Was expecting more after the 45min wait. Some lady tried to explain they had run out of produce and normally is better, then started to abuse us for questioning her! CRAZY!! Also witnessed her selling a few beers to some kids on push bikes! SO unprofessional

Worst, soggiest chips i have ever received at a apparent fish and chippery. Lots of better places to choose in samford. Staff extremely rude and unhelpful also.

I am quite fussy with my seafood as my husband is a fisherman and we often have very fresh reef fish. Samford Seafood does a great crumbed Dory fish and crumbed hake. I am so pleased they are in Samford. Again I am very fussy, so I would not bother most weeks to have takeaway fish and chips if it was not for Samford Seafood. Every workplace has there issues, but the food cancels out and more than compensated for any occasional mishaps. There is other great food items on the menu as well and yes their gelati is great

Checked this place out after reading the obvious bogus reviews, the selling of alcohol to kids was the kicker. Nice little joint, best chips I ever had, fish and salad spot on, staff friendly and nice atmosphere. We chilled here for while, had some beers on tap and enjoyed the music, not sure where the other reviewers were?

The fish was coral trout and it was lovely. The staff were good too. However, $57 for 2 bits of fish, 2 potato scallops, small chips (luke warm), a cider and small glass of wine was a bit steep. Then there was a 50 min wait. All in all, ok but will drive a bit further if I have to wait that long and still pay 57 slides. Dont mind paying if you get the goods and service.
