Wonderful location and fantastic view in the beautiful pongau . the restaurant is dedicated to a high standard. the reception friendly the menu offers for every taste whether fish whether meat is vegetarian something . the young lady of the services , very striving and friendly. a great wine card on the one that doesn't fetch for denconnaisseur. the ordered white wine, probably came to the table at a temperature.The kitchen is top; the portion size is rather somewhat clear. but qualitatiw very good.The cold fish appetizer was tasty, but rather something for the "high tooth"; the price-care ratio was not true at all at all.What is not going on in this house, which strives for higher, paper napkins, sometimes simple art. (terasses!) there belong to be able to meet the demands of the house, fabric napkins. it is certainly a cost factor,but one must, for a house what wants to give a higher claim.Everything in all right,we come back!

As the middle-nighter on our passage to croatia here spent a night in a suite. We'll definitely come back for several days, set that up. Hotel looks beautiful and typical eastern. Face is phenomenal to both beautiful and bad weather. From our suite, beautiful view of the valley and the mountains and idem for the balcony, which was even smaller than I imagined, bed is delicious and suite has plenty of room. Bathroom's fine with clean sink. Everyone looks very clean and neat. Hotel runs by a family and it's very nice, kind people who put their guests on one. Breakfast was good, but nothing special. Dinner was delicious and very sharp. environments can walk beautifully and bike.

The food , the service and the presentation of food was wonderful. A lovely restaurant run by the Ratgeb family gives you a very personal and homely feel. They gifted us very nice homemade noodles.Great people and restaurant.A must visit !

Fantastic regional and seasonal dishes with warm service and beautiful views. chef cooks, gattin & daughters pamper the guests in the service.Recommendable are the fish from their own ponds (filets totally free of bones!).It is all freshly cooked also the sauces & noodles are self-made. a good bottle of wine and an enzianschnaps (you get very rarely!) have rounded off the eating experience. have stayed in the Hochkönig room. very clean with fantastic view. there are 2 suits (approx.50 m2) with kamin. breakfast is individually freshly prepared. table reservation for midday or evening is recommended, especially on weekends.Super value!!!

Very friendly, family house. price performance was great! great food and drinks selection. will be happy to come back. only recommended.
