Hiyoko Yakitori Ya - Salvarcar

Do yourself a favor and chose this place if you’re looking for delicious and quality Japanese food beyond sushi. Their chicken karaage is some of the best me and my husband have tried. Everything we ate here was excellent. I’ve eaten in many Japanese restaurants around the world and Hiyoko is world class. Aside from the amazing food, the service was excellent and the atmosphere is solid. We had an early lunch here and got to enjoy the place to ourselves. Looking forward to dining here again!

Hiyoko is a cool spot. Had some good yakitori, along with a huge portion of chicken karaage. Wide selection of sake as well. For some reason they had none of the rice section of the menu available, which was a letdown. The design of the space is really nice, but the 90s hip hop playlist is better reserved for the bar upstairs. Pricey for obvious reasons, but not a bad option if you’re burnt out on tacos. I recommend just having yakitori and drinks. The negima, bonjiri, and tsukune were all good.
