Franska Matsalen - Saltsjobaden

Very happy with main and dessert. We did not like the starter Char . Nice service and environment.

Nice restaurant and good food, but it took too long. 1.5 hours to get our main course. would not have dared that a command reservation would take so long.

We stayed for a few nights in the saltjöbaden hotel and had 2 x dinners in franska matsalen. we had very good experience and I would have this restaurant for at least 4 starts, so some rooms for improvements, but generally very good. in the first night we had oysters for beginners, beautiful fine de claire, fresh with beautiful beside sauce (lightly more than just tweeper and vinegar, something else added beautiful aroma. Five stars. for the first we had calf meat that came with sortiment of the bon and beautiful crispy carrot cubes. Unfortunately we did not feel much of a truffle neither in the sauce or in the bor, but meat was extremely tender, very good. the jumping up a green crispy parmesan is a little questionable, but the overall experience was great. I recommend this court. Rating 4 4.5 starts second night we have theecôte divided for 2 which was excellent. Five stars. “Small wein for sale per glass, but they have large, exclusive and expensive wine card per bottle. “Serving staff are very young and girls (some know more, others less about the dishes and ingredients. our first night the main waiter was the Swedish British type alex, who was probably the best, very know about serving labels and schirrer, other youths can improve something. I recommend this place to dinner very much and would definitely eat there again. I give 5 starts for this review to improve general Google rating, as this place definitiw deserves 4 or higher. thanks for a great night!

At the price and with the claim of the hotel I can not give it quite a 5-star rating, the service was a bit uneven and a little inconspicuous. I must say that eating was very good both days, both meat dishes and vegetarian dishes were delicious and well presented. this was written during Kovid-19, so that during normal times there could be a 5-star rating. I'd eat here again.
