This is what I was hoping for. Local looks like, feels like and yes even smells like a fresh seafood restaurant. Dinner inside but almost water level. Great food, even better waitress (Megan) and reasonably priced for the number of people and what we had. Not fancy, just a good place to eat and spend time with friends.

Went in for lunch and were amazed at the big portions. Good and fast service. Nice view of the water.

We visited this restaurant during our summer vacation and had to wait a long time for a table since it's always very busy. However, once we finally got seated, it turned out to be one of the best meals I've ever had—perhaps enhanced by our hunger after the long wait. The hushpuppies were fantastic, and the rest of the food was excellent too. Just keep in mind that if you’re visiting during peak season, you shouldn’t expect to grab a quick meal.
