Motherland Spice - Saltcoats

We ordered a Nepalese starter, a traditional lamb and potato dish, and a chicken curry with ginger for our main course, accompanied by rice and a generous garlic naan bread. We have visited Motherland Spice multiple times and have never been let down. The food is outstanding and the service is top-notch. This time, we celebrated my grandson's 14th birthday and he was surprised with a birthday cake and a candle at the end of the evening. The lights dimmed, the owners sang happy birthday, and there was background music playing. It was a memorable experience that made our night special. We are looking forward to coming back again soon.

We were often to motherland spice and were not even disappointed. the food is exceptional and the service second to none. at this occasion was it the 14th birthday of my grand and at the end of the night he was with birthday cake and candle!! the lights went out and the proprioter sang happy birthday together with background music! it made our night and cannot wait until a return visit

Excellent food. I just pointed out that I wanted to take my leftovers home, but the waitress had discarded the food instead of putting it in containers. Total excellent x
