Bidrage med feedbackI had the seven inch primo pizza. It was very good, the crust was thick and chewy. They side salad was also good but seemed too small for the price.
The Hang Loose was an excellent combo of sweet pineapple and spicy jalapeño. The primo had extra creamy cheese and tasty pepperoni, with delicious mushrooms and black olives. Probably best to order for delivery, there’s not much parking and didn’t feel like a place I wanted to spend more time than I had to.
Definitely the best vegan pizza in Salt Lake, only 4 stars because it’s not the best vegan pizza I ever had. Their pasta and sweet dishes are really good too and worth a try! (As far as I know they make their own vegan cheese pretty cool.
I hope to edit this review with 5 stars soon. I ordered online during their listed regular business hours and everything seemed to be going well (payment went through and confirmatiin email received) until I went to pick up my order and found it closed. Hoping they redeem themselves! Updated from previous review on 2021-09-13
I would frequent Seasons on work trips, but I have been eating cleaner for health reasons lately, and avoiding canola oil. I called them the week prior to leaving for a vacation, where my husband and I would be stopping through, to find out if they used canola oil. I was told that they use it in some sauces, but there were dishes that it wasn’t used in. I figured since it’s such an expensive Italian restaurant, most dishes would use olive oil. I also thought I’d be safe to get the Caesar salad, which I was really looking forward to, along with some sort of GF pasta dish. To my surprise, the only “dishes” that didn’t have canola oil were the GF garlic crostini (gluten free bread $5 for two slices), one salad (without the molasses dressing we had to get oil and vinegar instead), and the roasted vegetable side dish. For two veggie sides, 2 sides of bread, and one salad split between us, the total was $36. We ended up going to Rawtopia to get dessert, filled with regret that we didn’t just eat dinner there too. If you’re health conscious, know that canola oil is used here. For the price of the dishes here, one would think the quality of ingredients would be better. Instead, they’re charging premiums and using sub par ingredients for such a fancy dining establishment. I understand that most restaurants use canola oil, but I expected more from Seasons.
