Bidrage med feedbackWhile my car was being repaired, I asked the workers about the restaurant next door. They mentioned it wasn't their cup of tea, but recommended the place across the street for great tacos. Intrigued, I walked over to a simple-looking restaurant. My first impression was that it was clean, authentically Mexican, and the food looked delicious. Mexican cuisine is my favorite, so I was thrilled to discover El Calor, which had amazing food and the best tacos I've ever had in Salty City! I was pleasantly surprised to find beans in my taco, which I enjoyed. In addition to delicious tacos al pastor, they offered a complimentary salsa bar with tasty options like chunky green salsa to enhance your meal. While there wasn't much English spoken, the menus and signage were in English, making it easy to navigate. The servers were friendly and eager to please. I highly recommend visiting El Calor.
I am a fan of authentic Mexican cuisine. I enjoy dining at restaurants where most of the customers are Mexican and it is beneficial to speak and read Spanish. This restaurant offers a delicious, traditional menu prepared by Mexican women who are skilled in cooking. They do not provide complimentary chips and salsa, and soda is served in cans or bottles. Menudo is available every day. I highly recommend El Calor Taqueria.
It's a small Mexican restaurant but their chicken tortas and their special burritos were delicious.
Wow, I was surprised with my tinga taco. The tinga lacked a bit of flavor, but it was good overall. The handmade tortilla was very good. The green chilaquiles and the beans were delicious, they really know how to make Mexican style eggs.
The service was excellent. The food was okay, not as yummy as I remembered, but okay. The fresh fruit drinks are good. It feels like Mexico inside
