Eight Settlers Distillery

This is a beautiful Restaurant/Establishment with and amazing view from the second floor. Their Menu is unique! One diner enjoyed the Airplane Chicken. Other two shared a Short Rib Grilled cheese and bowls of Clam Chowder. Chowder was amazing but, the sandwich was greasy. Other Diner had a Caesar Salad which was delicious and the side of Mac n' Cheese was very creamy and decadent. Choice of entrees wasn't to our liking! We are not picky diners!

We went on Thanksgiving so we were expecting a crowd and slow service. The service was great! There was no crowd, but the food took an excessive amount of time. Our server was very conscious that we were still waiting on food for about 1.5hrs and kept checking in on us.

We drive through Salt lake twice a year. Finally we're able to go to the distillery. We always planned on it but something always got in our way. Finally did and it was worth it! Food was diverse and delicious. Service was great and do plan on going back to try other items on the menu.

The food and service are great... and I really wanted the ambience to be as well, but sadly dissatisfied in that realm. I brought a few guests here from out of town and was thrilled when they sat us upstairs during sunset... however, the high ceilings reverberated all the loud voices and heavy chairs dragging on the floor. We could barely hear our sever and each other! Not sure why they don't seat anyone downstairs... it's such a better environment. Maybe they just want to turn over tables faster? All I know is we could wait to get outside when we were done. Sadly, I won't be bringing a group here again. Maybe just 2 of us at the bar will be okay.

We went here for the Mother's Day brunch buffet, and sat on the upper level which was like a indoor/outdoor hybrid. The food was QUALITY, and was prepared to perfection. The staff was courteous and seemed to care that every patron was comfortable. My initially planned on going to the usual Grand America buffet, but feel super luckily that it was booked and we ended up here.I sure hope Eight Settlers doesn't change their business model because my family would like this to be our new Mothers Day brunch buffet spot.
