Chunga's - Salt Lake City

The Al Pastor Gordita I had the best I ever had at Chungas today! The bowl was hot and crisp. And the meat was so tasteful. My children tried the Enchiladas and my husband had a smeared steak burrito. The chips and salsa were great. Everything was fresh and delicious. We were completely satisfied. The food was clean and the service was friendly and fast. Thank you.

We have been here since their opening, for authentic Mexican cuisine, and are never disappointed. If you expect a perfect service - great tables, etc. you will be disappointed. But if you're just going for dinner, you'll leave happy. We tried everything in the menu and then some. My husband and I usually get their over-the-top afteros (in every sauce they have) and their delicious pineapple flavored meat Burritos, crushed, and then both share together. Fill! Their tacos are good, their big fleshy sandwiches are to die. Everything here is delicious. Go with the relaxed attitude and prepare to be satisfied. Both locations are delicious.

Amazing al Pastor Tacos, just the best in Salt Lake. Your chips and salsa are also good, but I really only come for the tacos.

I'm 100% literally when I say this is my favorite food. The steak burrito with green sauce is my way. I moved a year away and that's the food I missed most. I'm glad to enjoy it again. While the steak is my favorite, the pastor is some of the best I ever had. When friends and family come into town, I always get food from Chungas.

The tortas are the best in Salt Lake City! Totally recommend it. The customer service is good as well.
