Avenues - Salt Lake City

The food here was good but not great, I got the masala dosa and samosa. The dosa and samosa were both cooked well but both felt like they were lacking in seasoning and the potatoes were definitely under salted. Giving them 4 stars though because they've had good food here before when I've come.

If I could do one thing outside of my locus of control, that would be to rate this restaurant 6/5 stars!

Went for dinner here tonight and ordered the coconut korma. Let me start by saying we frequent the South Jordan location and their food is wonderful so we were surprised when the korma came out green instead of yellow and very watery when it is usually very creamy. It was not good. The chicken was sus as well. Very disappointing, I ate rice and naan and left the curry. Service was pretty good and our server was kind. The place also reeeeeks of chemicals and cleaner which in my eyes is always a bad sign. We won’t be going back to this location.

Stunning landscaping out front and seriously delicious food inside : full of flavor and heat. Every time I'm downtown I try to go here!

5/5, no second thought. This is one of the authentic Indian food we have tried. We went for the lunch (buffet) on thanksgiving and were surprised by the courteousness of the staff and the fantastic treat to our tastebuds! I liked the fact that they prepare fresh breads (naans) for you! The tikka Masala and Dahi Chaat was too good too. Finally, The food is priced appropriately as well. Good job guys, keep up the awesomeness. Many restaurants fail to treat their customers appropriately and provide a unique food experience! We will visit again.
