Chateau De Richebois

During a 2 week holiday in nearby Eyguières, our family made no fewer than 4 trips to this restaurant, 3 times for lunch, once for dinner. On each occasion, the service and welcome were warm and genuine, while the food never failed to excite and exceed expectations. What blew us seasoned travellers to this country away was not just the quality of the food (bordering 1* Michelin) or the warmth of the welcome (Provence, away from the coast, at its best), but the exceptional value for money. Never mind the skill and training involved, we would have struggled to assemble the ingredients for our 3 course (18 Euros) set menus at the same cost per head. All in all, a wonderful, joyous, utterly delicious restaurant. For those so inclined, they also offer a disco on the evenings they serve dinner (Fridays/Saturdays). It's so good we'll make a detour to visit it in future years. Outstanding.

A vast place, and they serve food only at lunchtime on week-days. No bedrooms, no evening meals and nothing at week-ends. So what do they do? It is an enormous discotheque at week-ends, taking in 1000-1500 youngsters and the very slightly more mature. Profits are made from them NOT diners. Lunch was, on the whole, satisfactory, and not overpriced, and the only local place where I could get a bottle of average wine under 20€. Service was as it should be. The only criticism was the milk served with the coffee came in a plastic pot stating that it was a month after its ' sell-by date. The kitchen needs to supervise the stocks better! But, you can almost come for the atmosphere, sitting on a first floor terrace, surveying the park, and relaxing with a drink and a meal.

Nous avons reçu un courrier de Physaro nous indiquant que nous pouvions venir gratuitement manger au Richebois. En venant mercredi 09 août 2017 nous nous sommes vus refuser l'entrée sous prétexte qu'elle est réservés au plus de 25 ans (nous avons 2 enfants). Sentant l'arnaque je m'informe sur cette pseudo société et m'aperçoit qu'elle est dans le collimateur des associations de consommateurs et que de nombreux posts en témoignent. Je trouve SCANDALEUX qu'un restaurant avec une renommée ferme les yeux et abrite ce genre de société. Il n'y avait que des personnes âgées, proie facile...car évidemment le repas gratuit c'est pour mieux vous vendre des produits dont vous n'avez nul besoin et à des prix astronomiques ! Je ne retournerai dons pas au Richebois qui ratisse trop large pour se faire de l'argent et qui ferme les yeux.

Une adresse incontournable ! Le site est magique , la cuisine délicieuse et un accueil des plus chaleureux ! Anniversaires, repas en famille ou entre amis ! Nous n avons jamais été déçu ! Je recommande encore et encore !!!!
