Bidrage med feedbackI met up with my brother-in-law to visit the 4-day Easter market, which was very interesting with many different stands. Just before it closed for the day, we stopped by Pik a Pie for a cup of coffee and a vanilla disc. The staff were still busy, but they were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome without being overwhelming. They had a wide selection of products to choose from, and I highly recommend this place to visit. We sat down and chatted in a beautiful setting, making for a pleasant end to our day.
The pies and cakes are worth dying and so the journey to meadows. or in our case of sydney when we visit the family.
This bakery on a main intersection in the country town of Meadows is always open weekends and we have never been disappointed. Large range of pies and pasties and delicious cakes and coffee all at good prices. Tables and chairs inside and out, also lounge...settings inside. All spotless. Service is pleasant.
The creative flavored cakes at this restaurant are incredible. I started with the garlic prawn, cheeseburger, and salt 'n pepper cakes but I highly recommend trying the chicken gyro or the beef stroganoff pies too. I love them. The salad rolls are also excellent. Definitely try the cakes.
I haven't been to a bakery in a long time because I was always hesitant. I have been living in Meadows for 5 years and recently needed food quickly. To my surprise, I found the tortes to be really good. The cakes have a rich flavor like no other baked goods. The sausage rolls don't taste like breadcrumbs. The cakes are absolutely delicious, and they offer 1 free cake when you buy 2 hot items. There is plenty of variety and the prices are good. The service is fast and friendly, much better than the other bakery in the city. Definitely worth a visit.
