The staff were very helpful, welcoming and very friendly. There were five of us on a family birthday meal and we’re disappointed with the quality and temperature of the food served. The Christmas dinner was dry and the vegetables were spongy and overall the only thing enjoyed were the roast potatoes. This is unheard of as my daughter loves her food. My steak was very nice and my partner enjoyed his mixed grill, however stated chicken was very dry. We were so impressed with the waitressing staff that we didn’t complain and didn’t allow it to ruin our experience.

Service was really good, the staff were friendly and our waiter was really good...food was good too. All round pleasant visit and Xmas decs look good too!

Waited to order over 10 minutes observing only one waitress taking this and when did attend felt like her attention was elsewhere. Salad cart satiuess good but disappointed by the cold bread rolls tasted had they ever seen an oven. Seated in a very uncomfortable and awkward position wedged in alcove. But then waited some considerable time for mains to arrive. Overall not the best visit here and won’t be rushing back in the future. Have to say overall place looked tired and lacking atmosphere that was memorable. Our waitress was friendly but just felt in these modern times taking an order on A tiny notepad is a step back in time and didn’t give me much confidence if our order was correct. Just a shame the place has lost its zeal in my opinion having worked theee 18 years ago.
