Rita's Italian Ice Frozen Custard

This is a great place to stop for a break when you are from the central coast to the Bay area. My husband and I always make a pit stop here when we drive north. He was born and raised in Philly, so Rita 's is super nostalgic to his childhood. For me, grew up on the west coast, I had no idea what Rita was until I made a trip to Philadelphia. Now I'm addicted! I'm so glad Rita is coming over the west coast! I always get the gelati with Vanilla Custard and Mango italian ice cream. It is such a good combination of tart and creamy. The mango is always consistent and a popular taste. The Custard is so creamy, rich and smooth. The perfect dessert if it ever was one!

I went to Rita a few weeks ago the guy worked there so nice and explain everything different flavors and everything I ended to the new popular articles so glad I did I will be back!!!!

If you don’t know about Rita’s life. Your life has been an absolute waste. Let me tell ya. This spot is the greatest place on the west coast for custard and Italian ice. I kid you not. I would eat this for every meal but I do have to keep my girlish figure. I’m telling ya. Great spot for a quick pick. The service is great as always.

Delicious frozen custard and the owner seems to be a great guy. I'll gladly go back. Best frozen custard I've had since Kopp's.

I absolutely love the ice cream just sucks sometimes that the flavors you love the most aren't there at times, but still overall the custard is creamy and delicious the shaved ice cream is the best and has a better taste compared to other shaved ice cream.
