Bidrage med feedbackWhen I first arrived at the restaurant, I was a bit skeptical. It didn't stand out as particularly unique, just your average Mexican restaurant. The prices seemed a bit high for the atmosphere, but that all changed when I tried the tacos. They were the best I've had in Salinas, with hand-made tortillas and perfectly crunchy meat. The michelada was also delicious. I would definitely give it a 10/10 and will be returning again.
I believe this restaurant is the ideal spot for those looking to support local, family-owned businesses with unique art displayed on the walls. The food is fantastic, but the portions are small and the prices are a bit high considering the size. They should consider offering larger portions for the same price. Overall, it is a great spot to dine.
While traveling to Oklahoma, I decided to stop at a restaurant in search of authentic tacos. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious tacos and the excellent service provided by the friendly and attentive staff. Many thanks to the team for offering great food and service to the public. It's easy for some to forget the importance of such establishments, but I applaud their efforts.
Service here is extremely slow. Prices are a bit high especially for a farm community. I live in a Mexican border town in Texas and our prices at local restuarants are about 10-15% less. We waited an hour for chorizo and eggs and caldo de pollo. Food was however tasty but I had to take my soup to go or I would be late for an appointment. I'll probably come here again but next time I'll have to block at least 2 hours so I can enjoy the meal in a real bowl rather than styrofoam.
As far as people saying it was pricey, let's be clear: it was only one or two dollars above average. I paid 12.50 for a beef enchiladas plate with all the sides. Tacos were 2.50 a pop. (At the time of this review) Food was worth the price and I intend on returning.
