The Woodside - Salford

An excellent experience allround. I haven't been here in some years but the place has clearly just had a refurb, it was very smart! Servers very friendly, food excellent. Really looked after us, brought the birthday cake out for my 80 year old Dad, took photos of us all. We thought it value for money for the quality of the experience.

I went for Sunday lunch with my husband, we both went for the roast beef. This was very disappointing the beef was overcooked, the roast potatoes were hard and you could barely cut them, the broccoli was so hard too. We won’t be coming back for the Sunday roast, especially the price for what we got.

Disappointing meal. Fatty steaks and highly overpriced for quality. Drinks are ridiculously overpriced also

The service was excellent (believe the waitress was Sophie), staff are very attentive. The food was good, and served reasonably quickly, considering that the place was busy (a good sign on a Thursday). Relaxed atmosphere. It seems like a good place to not only eat, but also to go just for a drink.

Wish I had read reviews before going for lunch today roast beef tough roast potatoes were very small looked like they were frozen food was Luke warm overpriced won't be returning again
