Spice Palace - Salford

I seriously can recommend the Spice Palace for its friendly staff and service..I eat quite a lot from here as the food is amazing never had a fault yet..thank you guys Sharon

Good polite service. Food on time. Alas, curry sauce was too sweet for my tastes (Jalfrezi). Only found two chillies in the mix. Far two much onions to bulk it all out. Rice was delicious. Naan bread (cheese) tasted of very little cheese and was quite dry. The chicken pakoras were very tasty. My wife had chicken pieces with onion rings and chips. The rings and chips were just warm. The chicken pieces were tasty and hot. We only live about 2 miles away. Had food three or so times now. Reasonable prices. Won't bother again though, alas.

This is my closest takeaway, so of course you want to have high hopes. Before i moved to Salford i lived near the BEST kebab house in Manchester, everything there was always freshly prepared, great friendly staff you'd always get freebies for being regulars and the food was amazing. sadly, this is not the case for spice palace. I've tried several times over the three years I've lived here to give them a chance but they just aren't up to par. The shop itself is dingy looking and not very appealing, orders were always late, if you order online for collection you would expect it to be ready when you arrive. not just have the staff start preparing to make your food the minute you walk through the door. that's not very convenient is it? especially when it's already pre-paid! It's not just the service, it's the poor quality of food as well. I've tried curries, pizza's and kebabs and nothing really satisfies. Go to love balti on langworthy road instead!

I phoned the Spice Palace last night as I've recently moved back to the area. I was wondering if they delivered to me as I'm a little further away from them now. So glad because I've never had anything to complain about the whole year I used them. The food came, nice to know they remembered me and it was just as good as i remember... in fact it was better. Don't think I'll be going anywhere else!
