Enchanting location in the heart of the port of Salerno. The restaurant overlooks the sea and this is already a plus. The menu, although it has few options, is very good, both the delicious fish fry and the first courses. I also recommend grandma's cake, delicious. The plus is also for the generous portions and the attentive service. Advised. As the song ends, I think back to lunch at mile zero and the feeling I had when I left (satisfied). The place is a bit hidden, not immediately visible. But after being there you will never forget it. Managed by a fishermen's cooperative, the restaurant that doesn't aspire to a star has its say (and the world is certainly better than it is, I'm increasingly certain of this). Fixed and simple menu, prepared on the catch of the day taken from the boats that dock a few meters from the restaurant (less than a mile certainly). Dishes without too many flourishes that enhance the taste of the sea. All divinely cooked by the hands of... a fisherman, what else? Truly exceptional value for money. 5 of us had lunch (3 seafood risottos, 2 scialatielli with seafood, 2 fried dishes, 2 octopus salads, a bottle of Abbruzzese pecorino) and paid little compared to the quality. If on the food side the restaurant does not disappoint, the limitations are represented by the venue: few seats and a very minimal environment (but as mentioned it does not aspire to a star). The port view, however, makes you forget about these limitations. I always recommend calling and booking, to enjoy this taste experience directly in the port of Salerno and to overcome seating limitations.
