Wish I could give zero stars. We just waited in a line to eat at this place for over half an hour. My 3 year old was starving. We went in search of a table in this busy place while my husband remained in this line. We found 1 open table in the place, only to be told there were no children allowed there (with ZERO signs indicating this, and absolutely no reason why not. I could understand if it was a bar or something, but it was just tables! . Pretty lame for a FAMILY amusement park! When hubby finally came back to us, he announced we were leaving. Apparently for some reason, all they're serving this week is chicken nuggets. AGAIN no signage. Now we have to wait in another line somewhere else, with a starving kid. Thanks for wasting our time and leaving a bad taste in our mouth! Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs!
As a group of three, we stopped here for dinner at the park. The atmosphere was expectedly quaint after all it is across from the Boston Tea Party) and there are menus on the tables when you walk in the door. It's half-waiter service: you go up to the bar to order, but they bring out the food to your table. The food was pretty good and deserving of 4 stars). The three of us got the reuben, turkey club wrap, and tuna wrap with waffle fries, chips, and sweet potato fries, respectively) and we were all very satisfied with our entrees and sides. The price was average for amusement park food; the iced tea was somewhat pricy, but it was Tazo brewed iced tea. They charge a small amount $1.79 at the time of this review) extra to substitute fries sweet potato or waffle) for chips on entrees, which isn't too bad compared to other vendors. Overall, if I'm at Canobie Lake, I would go to the Sons of Liberty Tavern again.
Just left there absolutly horrible service food took over 39 mins for chicken fingers when finalt came 45 mins later asked for a refund or talk to manager hes no sorry mam but would u like a soda. Not to mention we tried to cancel are order and get a refund but was refused. I didnt drive 2 hours to spend an hour for chicken fingers. Not to metion my mom touched the wrong chicken fingers with her hands and they still served them. All i can say i WOW
Over 45 minute wait on a weekday for quick service food. The workers could care less about their job. I watched the person taking orders actually say Sorry, it 's going to be a minute... because he wanted to fill up a glass of soda for himself and take his time drinking it. The whole experience was bizarre. I won 't be back to Canobie Lake Park again. Ever.
