Mat&prat is definitely one of the best restaurants in Sala, with a wonderful interior and great food. The same people also run Bra Hak in Västerås, so if you have a chance, try that as well!

I visited here with 8 colleagues during a business trip. We were greeted with a friendly atmosphere and warm environment. The menu was small but varied. We asked the staff for their recommendations and weren't let down. They had a great choice of ales to sample whilst eating/chatting. I must say that the ribeye steak was phenomenal. I haven't had a steak that tasty ever! I highly recommend visiting here. had a steak

The staff were very helpful in allowing us to book around 60 seats outside for dinner where all our guests had a serious party with a great outdoor pub feel and very good food. The staff did not mind the noise and the locals even sang a song for us tourists. We ate here 2 weeks prior and had a quiet meal inside which again was very good. Thoroughly recommended if you are in Sala.
