Gosselin-jegou - Saint-Lo France

We had about 90 minutes to stop for lunch in Saint Lo when I was on a tour in France. My friend and I popped in here because we had not yet had crepes on our trip, and their menu had so many options we just had to try it. La Caryopse did NOT disappoint! We both had a crepe with ham and cheese for lunch, and then I had Melba Crepes for dessert, while my friend had Orange crepes. They were delicious! It was a truly perfect crepe experience. The service here was good and I loved the atmosphere. It's cute, charming, and delicious. If I ever find myself there again, I'll be back!

Very disappointed! We came to the restaurant a few times and it was good and there for Valentine's Day, a real fiasco! They were all sardines, so that the waitress could not serve properly. We waited more than an hour before we got our cake. The price was expensive compared to what was in the plate. A special Valentine's menu at 20 euros per people out of drinks, just for a cake and a crêpe and few things in the plate compared to the other times or we came. A total fiasco, people forced to sit on folding chairs put at the last minute because we accept a lot of reservations but nothing follows! 3 people on a small table... no but without kidding this evening was not a Valentine's Day evening but rather a business evening! Enter as many people in a small room like this one and come out with a note of 40 euros out of drinks and still hungry (we are not big eaters yet) and be obliged to go to buy what to eat. In short evening to raise money without paying attention to customers! And when you make evenings like these, you avoid having a cook... because in the end a meal that lasts more than 2 hours just for 2 pancakes each is not possible! We'll never be back! Not to mention the excessive prices of certain drinks... cider whose final price is minimum 5 times the basic purchase price, sacred margin! To test if you want, however, to take a snack for after in case, but to avoid for such evenings. Very very disappointed!
