La Pizzetta - Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer

Delicious food for a great price. Service was very friendly and quick. We had the Italian starter and pizza. The starter was nice and the pizza was fantastic.

This restaurant appeared welcoming and we arrived wth 3 children who ordered pizzas as did 1 adult. The other me ordered the menu a 18£. I was served my first course with the pizzas and then they forgot me and after I reminded them when everyone else at the table finished they bought me a plate of sardines which tasted bitter. There was no apology at all and no attempt to taste to verify my complaint. I was left very disappointed. I paid and left.

Food was fairly good - moules were particularly tasty. Bull steaks were also good, if a little on the small side. Price very good for the menu of the day - three courses for around 18 Euro. Reasonable service for a busy lunch time in August in a tourist resort.

Visited here for lunch on a Monday and it was quite busy. The two wait staff were very accommodating, particularly when we asked to be moved away from the rather warm heaters. The food was quite nice, we had the fish soup and mussels. The meals were served very quickly There was no problem with lingering a bit longer after we finished our meals. Reasonably priced. Would imagine it would be extremely busy in the high season.

In the middle of the winter, we arrived early.. Service was hurried, and the waiter didn't pay any attention to what we told him: I have allergies and I asked which dish I could safely eat. He pointed a few out. As I was eating I realized that here was bread crumbs in my plate... I had to go back to the hotel to get some medicine and was sick for 2 days. The food itself was average. The tables so closed to each other, we could participate to our neighbors conversation, since we could not easily have one.
