Bidrage med feedbackWe had a delightful breakfast at this restaurant in the tourist-favorite town of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. The portion sizes were perfect, and the coffee was excellent. The servers were friendly and helpful. Although you could find larger portions elsewhere, we were pleased with the tasty gelato they offered. Overall, we were very satisfied with our choice. The prices were reasonable compared to what we would pay for breakfast in Calgary.
This small restaurant is a hidden gem among the many touristy, expensive, and lower-quality places along the waterfront. Everything I've tried from their menu has been cooked with care and attention to detail, resulting in a delicious "home-cooked" taste. I first tried their brittle and was impressed by how good and fresh it was, along with their coffee which I believe is the best in the area. The owners, Oscar and Lidia, are from Peru so they really know their coffee! Recently, we tried their lunch menu and were amazed by the variety. Their sandwiches, quesadillas, chili, salads, and homemade desserts were all delicious and worth the calories. During our most recent visit, we decided to try the daily special which was the Huhn Marengo, with a choice of soup or quinoa salad, all for a very reasonable price of $16. Everything was tasty, the chicken was tender, and the mushroom sauce was amazing. We finished our meal with a slice of pancake, carrot pine cake, and a latte, all of which were excellent. They now have a liquor license and offer local microbrewery, Trois Lac beer which is outstanding. We haven't checked out their wine list yet but will do so next time. If you're looking for quality home-cooked meals in a pleasant environment, with fair prices and friendly service, Au Bout de l'Isle is the best choice in Ste Anne de Bellevue.
This Montreal island restaurant serves the best ice cream. The owners, Oscar and Lidia, are very friendly. The student girls who work on weekends are helpful and always have a smile on their faces.
Our favorite breakfast place, we love that it is located locally in, also we ordered their Christmas meat cakes that are delicious. great honest service! we love Jean-Claude!!!
Came for lunch for the first time. We will definitely be back. My daughter had the cream of carrot soup and the quiche. Both were excellent. I had the salad and some chicken drumsticks in a tangy tomoto sauce served with a pyramid of rice....Salad dressing was great and the sauce on the chicken was so tasty. The restaurant is quite big and bright. I can't wait to return to try more!
