Le Touring - Saint-Raphaël

Popped in for a drink on the comfy outdoor sofas but got drawn in by the “plat du jour” of mussels and fries for 15€ so decided to grab some lunch. My partner had the mussels and I had the entrecôte which was beautiful in...a garlic butter with homemade fries. It’s a shame the mussels don’t come with the same fries as they were no way near as nice. The ladies were lovely to serve us and very welcoming to our 8 month old. Would definitely go again.

Had dinner there one night, the food and service were OK but we thought the meal would have been a little better than the average give the category of the hotel. We were not attracted to return.

The hotel is very small (i think there is only 10 rooms) but is immaculate inside.We had a good sized, beautifully furnished room overlooking the marina with a small balcony. The bed was enormous and the bathroom was almost the same size as the room....The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was what you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. The hotel bar and restaurant were very good (and popular with locals), there are also many bars and restaurants nearby. I can see parking being a slight issue in high season as there is none at the hotel. We had no problem as there is plenty on street nearby although i believe the hotel does have valet parking at 25 euros per night. There was some ongoing roadworks outside the hotel when we visited but this should be completed soon. The hotel is not cheap but compared to others we have stayed at in the area, it is actually very good value. We would definitely stay there again.

Visited Le Touring in September 2018. Got to wait a good 15-20min for a waiter to give us a menu, whereas people with apparent external signs of wealth got handled way earlier even though they arrived later than us. Starters were okay, pastas were not...good especially for a place who pretends by their price and snobbish attitude that they are a grand place. To avoid unless you want to splash money without getting the return on the investment . They are much better places in Saint Raphael and Frejus with humble friendly people and a food which is just better and less pricy than this place.
