La Tarte Tropezienne A Micka

This was a typical pastry shop near the St Raphael Station and as we missed the opportunity to try in St Tropez did so in this pastry shop with the name of the pastry. Good pastries and nice shop.It is rich cream filled brioche and was created by Alexandra Micka , a pastry chef in St Tropez in 1955 and named by Brigitte Bardot in the film 'Ánd God Created Women '. Now you know.Rich and filling.

If you are looking for the most decadent cakes, pasteries and baked goods, their most famous item is the La Tarte Tropèzienne . This cafe is the very best place on the cote d'azur. You can take out or eat in the pasteries, cakes and tarte Tropèzienne. The cafe is excellent too with delicious soups, salads, sandwiches and a full menu of desserts. The famous Tarte by Mika comes plain or with red fruit which is amazing. Also they have mini ones in chocolate and other flavors, The apple tarte and chocolate cake are outstanding too. There are 3 stores inside the village of Saint Tropez but also all along the coast in Saint Raphael, Saint Agulf, Saint Maxime, Saint Pierre , Les Issambre...... An address you do not want to miss whilst in town! Amazing!

The best Tarte Tropezian is from Mika. Nothing can be compared to this perfect tarte ... as they say many copies but they never equal the original... and it is completely true!!! Once you have tasted it you can never eat a copy from another bakery or restaurant ! It is just perfectly airy, sweetened and the cream is to die for. My favorite is the red fruit which makes it a bit tart!! 10/10 always. Keep going Mika! Love the chocolate cake too and the millefeuille !
