Bidrage med feedbackOn the first day in st pierre de chartreuse we go to lunch in le chamechaude after st hughes. it is a simple walk and it is a pleasant lunch. a good 3-course menu, with the court of the day, a chilled beer and bottle. cote du rhone and you know that everything in the world is right! eating in winter is a hearty mountain price served in the dining room and bar. in the summer they find lighter dishes that can be served outside, where they can see the mountain that dominates the opposite and gives its name to this restaurant. all dishes are simple, tasty and reflect the local area and yes they can always have a fondue. the wee are made by a good standard including the local favorites and all are too very fair trips whether it snows or sunny I am sure that you visit in st hughes and its famous church will be made more fun by visiting in le chamechaude.
Stop without reservation during a charter trip ( visit of the painting exhibition in the village church): good reception, pleasant meals on the terrace despite a wild time, family kitchen with all freshness, the meal of the day (sunday) is hearty and very affordable, the fast service, attentive staff. Housemade products so rare today. Nice surprise, house to recommend even if the reputation is no longer to be done.
After the visit of the church (museum with archabas painting ) this inn is required! typical mountain décor, super nice atmosphere with tourists and local workers, the map is simple but the home kitchen is excellent, the plates are copied, the owner makes the service with efficiency and kindness!
Total misunderstanding before so many positive comments. the reception is not warm at all but the expedient answers and the quality of the mediocre dishes. a avoidance
Kitchen for a quick and pleasant lunch. no gastronomy here but a real meal, good and without chichi
