Doc Ford's Rum Grille Ft. Myers Beach

Came here for lunch after walking the Pier, it was nice to have some stone crab again! The rest of the food was very nicely presented really enjoyed the shrimp and grits. The paella was good, but not the best. Kids loved the pepperoni pizza, saw a lot of families today. Good offering of spicy sauces. The waitstaff was excellent and efficient with our requests. Would return again.

Doc Ford?s is the perfect restaurant for the St. Pete Pier experience. A beautiful restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, one of the most beautiful aquariums I have ever seen and a super friendly staff. I didn?t taste my dinner though because the appetizers that my table shared were so good, I was too full for my entree. Side note: try the fried calamari appetizer?it?s fantastic!

Great location on the pier. Parking near or on the streets if the parking lot is full. Inside, patio and outside seating. The bar mixed drinks just didn't work for us. The food was solid, we ordered fried shrimp and it was a clean plate. The grouper special was cooked well, the sauce had a great seafood tasted, but wow the flatbread was amazing. Service from the hostess, warm food delivery, drink refills and friendliness was great.

Such a fun place to eat! I came with family and my dog and they immediately seated us outside. There?s a beautiful view of the pier from inside and outside and they had live music playing as well. I had the mule margarita and it was very delicious and refreshing. We enjoyed their peel and eat shrimp, blackened grouper tacos, fried chicken sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, tropical salad, and the lime panko crusted fish sandwich. All of the items were DELICIOUS and I willdefinitely be returning. Our server, Colin, was on the ball, always checking on us and refilling our waters. We will definitely be returning!

What a great experience and atmosphere. This restaurant has nothing but good vibes, the waiters and waitresses were too tier with their customer service. Furthermore, the food was off the chain and the fish we had was fresh and it shows. I highly recommend this place, Great work guys!
