New Bohemia St. Paul - Saint Paul

Great place to eat that is different than most other restaurants... known for their Brats... tons of options. We started with their amazing Mega Pretzel. Nice pretzel crust with a delicate and fluffy internal, served with their jalapeno cheese dip (addicting). My wife had the Chicken Apple Brat... loved it. I had the New Orleans Cajan Andouille Brat. Toppings galore to choose from. My wife Jihima Apple Slaw (loved it). I added peppers and onions. For $5 more you can make you brat a meal (fries and a beer). The Fries are a special treat in and of themselves. Admittedly the beer choices for the meal deal are limited, the choices separate from the meal are amazing. Craft brews with alcohol content up to nearly 15%. I had ONE. Two would have meant my wife driving. But very very good. Everything was made fresh. Our only letdown was the chicken fingers which seemed store bought. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Weather allowing, they open up the walls to the outside. Big screen TVs everywhere. Service was great and very helpful with choices. I've been to both the St Paul and Golden Valley locations both equally great.

Very fun place to go before a wild game. Lots of seating. Great service and large beer selection. Food was fantastic. I got a quarter pound all beef hot dog which was amazing with their bacon kraut and fried onions. My husband got a bratwurst which was just as good and they were huge. Prices were actually decent also. We expected them to be a little spendy being next to the Xcel Energy Center. But that was not the case. I would definitely go there again especially with a big group like we had. A+

Went to see Journey at the Excel Center. We wanted a place to eat and have a beverage before heading to the show. This was our first time so we didn't know what the process was. They were busy and there was a line. When we got to the front counter, I felt silly but asked how does seating work since this was our very first time. The gentleman(I wish I could remember his name) that took our order was so gracious in explaining the process and was patient with us as we scanned the menu at the counter. He was pleasant and focused on us. He suggested food items. There was barely an open seat for the two of us but we eventually found something. I normally don't like crowded spaces, but the experience at the counter made it worth it. The food probably tasted better because of this experience too. I would recommend checking them out.

The beer selection was wonderful. It was a beautiful day, so the doors were open. The pretzel was great too! It was a super fun time.

A place that meets your expectations! Millions of beers, great staff, fun energy..but the brats are great! Wild rice with the bacon slaw and mushrooms with a touch of the stout and herb beer mustard is likely how life on this planet was born.
