West Wind - Saint Marys

It was our first time at this airport bar/restaurant. We went for breakfast because Rosie's was packed! Not too many people inside. I really enjoyed my meat lovers omelette! It was huge, stuffed with meats and veggies too! The homefries were good. Unfortunately my husband ordered the sausage gravy, and was only served a half portion. The waitress did fix the mistake before we were billed, but then she forgot to give his card back. I'd say yes, but he says no. I'd like to see what it's like at dinner time!

We were a party of four. I ordered stuffed haddock, it was good but not exceptional. Our server was insecure about her job and kept telling us over and over I 'm new, I m not sure about this or that . She was totally unfamiliar with the menu. We all ordered main entrees on the menu, and we all had dishes for rolls. We asked this server for rolls and butter several times and she kept saying she 'd have to check and see if we could have rolls with our dinner. Meanwhile all the tables around us were given a basket of fresh rolls and butter. The other tables had a different server. I m not sure if we 'll ever go back to West Wind.

Nice place, but avoid the expensive Sunday buffet better and more options a la carte. Full dinner menu available too. Wasn't busy 11 am Sunday morning but it was about to be as staff rushed around trying to build a table for 20 ! Owner was the sole wait staff others had failed to turn in.
