Ville Bakery - Saint Martinville

Beautiful home town bakery of the young man at the counter is helpful and polite. Dairy was clean and coffee was also a good tasting. Tables and floors were clean and inviting the room. Donuts are well dimensioned and there are also delicious treats; Cookies with egg, cheese, sausage or ham. Kolaches are also there, one with a bounty filling. Also the selection of cookies is good: fig bars, pecan, coconut, sugar cookies looked and tasted good. Had a sampler box to take home. Nice to have such a treasure in the little town.

Good old fashion bakery. Great. Big treats and the young man behind the counter were helpful, friendly and patient. He proposed a few things and packed everything well. I was just through, but next trip there, I'm gonna stop.

I'm so relieved that this bakery is still open. As a little child, my father would bring us into this bakery and we would always get some pastries. I was told that I was eating as a little kid as a soft biscuit. I hope they still do that. I'll find out on Tuesday.
