Chippies and coffee

Delicious homemade chips and really nice thick piece of cod. My husband's burger was also really good. Worth a visit if you need something quick and good quality without paying the high restaurant prices of St Martin. Very child/family friendly. Staff very nice. Clean toilets. Funny location in a retail area.

Little place which stays open to feed people who just want a burger and fries... For us it was good coffee and hot chocolate with a very friendly lady behind the counter.

This is a perfect place to go if you can't be bothered with another evening of formal dining. We did wonder about it being in what's effectively a commercial/industrial estate, but we went with the good reviews and were well rewarded. We ate on the picnic benches outside and had burgers and fish with frites. The food was delicious. The menu is thankfully limited. We would definitely recommend it for a quick and easy meal in St Martin. I gave it a score of 5, not because it's a fabulous top restaurant, but because it does what it does very well.

First time we have been here, you can either eat in or take away. We had their fish and chips. Fish was fab and so were the chips, would definitely visit again

When visiting my girlfriends family whom lives in La Flotte, I was in the hunt for some fast food which I must say isn't readily available on Ile de Ré, a restaurant called buns was suggested but they quickly informed us that we couldn't eat there as they where closing at 8 o'clock so we continued the search just a little down the road and found Chippies, they have a wonderful selection and I will sure to pay them a visit on my return to the island as the food was great.
