Le Coude a Coude - Saint-Malo

I and my family came here to look for fine food. at reception of the menu it was clear that the choice was not essential. we decided on our food choices (with roasted teeth that see the price) and hoped for the best. eating came...and it was very nice, but the portions were small, the “veg” or bits were very slim pickings and the fish portions small. the main course seemed more like an appetizer, and at €40 euro per dish it is not what I would expect. the children have a beautiful looking dish with a white fish (I take cajau) and veg, which was actually bigger in size, I would say as the adult main dishes. we chose whisper that was a pavlowa, and although it was beautiful again the price was only spoiled, which could have been a beautiful desert! it is merangue, earthy and looked for good willing, how can 4 of these dishes €40 two glasses wein € 35 honestly, I don't mind paying the money, we actually look for really nice restaurants, but that was over price for the portions and eating. I don't want to pay €175 for a small family of 4 and let them go the table to find something to eat because we are hungry. so nice eating, but the price needs to sink and portion must look at.

I was a bit tense when I woke up in the restaurant and was even tense when I saw that on the 4 erect all were over fish (I'm sorry I didn't feel like eating fish in this night and that the choice of this precise place was not mine. But let's be clear that it is a fish restaurant. I was thrilled and left all the people I saw. the place is super clean, modern well illuminated with an open kitchen that is very cool. the chefs are very concentrated and it was very fascinating to see them how they work eating wisely what is hit me most is looking for work and contempt of original products, and that is true for the main dishes and the gloomy. so the style is consistent and this is very cool. ingredients are not very processed so they find them in their plates and really taste them that is beautiful. but the way they are mixed together, especially the combinations of sauces for the fish is quite expensive. the same applies to desserts. they see the fruits, but the mix with other bits is really delicate (bruiscuits, mousse, meringue. . all in all tasteful it is hard to look for a better experience for this level of restaurant, so it is definitely a 5/5 if they cook for nature style of refined and intelligent cooks that love and respect the products. wise the choice is a biit limited and is not to eat. they can be better, even if their selection is decent. service: friendly I wish it was a little more reserved to time and less about small talks. and not the feeling that staff is not disappointed because they would not order wein would be great. there is no second class customer. in general a surprisingly good and rare restaurant for france. modern in its design and conception, which should be the 21st century cooking. hopefully this restaurant will continue to progress, which will strengthen its current

We came to lunch today and had a choice of two menus 19 or 30 euro, is excellent. very good fine kitchen with local products if they want fabulous aromas paired with the freshest ingredients, then this is the place for you....The interieur is tasteful and modern; great attention has been given to every detail. the staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. the selection of lunch menus is not very large, but this is a guarantee for their fresh ingredients. exquisitely prepared eating, the eye and the palate delighting, we chose the 19-Euro menu, delicious! chef’s own potager,plump solid tasty bark tomato in a light luscious dressing, followed by locally caught hake on a bed of spelled with fine fenced seasonal vegetables and a fabulous fishy boiling perfect. we had no desserts, as always with regard to the masterpieces that leave the kitchen and the smiles on the other diner faces said everything. we'll be back. bravo an chef nicolas bourdon and his brigade!
