Shack Breakfast Lunch - Saint Louis

Long wait…1st just to be noticed as we stood waiting for a table…the skimpily clad young lady (3 ft away) was busy flirting with 2 guys at the bar. Didn’t notice us until another party entered to be seated. A very flip “sorry ‘bout that”. Another long wait for the waitress to notice us. The place was not filled, so can’t use busy as an excuse. But, onto the food… amazing! Reasonably priced. So all was well in the end!

There are many heavy meal options here and some lighter fare, too. The coffee is really bad. Service is hit or miss but I'm having a lot of apathetic servers these days at a lot of places. Can be crowded and noisy.

The Shack is our favorite breakfast place! Always clean, friendly staff, easy to track your wait, food is sensational and reasonable. You dont get too much of a serving, its just perfect.. there is nothing bad to say.. always a great meal!

Amazing food great service and nice atmosphere. The place is clean and diligently organized. Ever in the mood for a good breakfast meal but, do not have the time to spare to eat out; this is your place. It beats eating McDonalds for breakfast. In and out 30min tops. Only downside is you have to wait to be seated which can take awhile. I found the hosts more concern with hair than seating folks.

One of my favorite things about traveling is finding little gems like this one!! The menu is hilarious! I love when i restaurant doesn't take itself too serious! I ordered the love me more hate me later... which is a breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, hash browns, crushed fritos and cheese, on a bed of chili and cheese on top. Omg!! It is so freaking delicious!! And it looked great to boot!! I may have to make this at home now i like it so much! I also got an iced snickers coffee which is pretty good.
