It is a very picturesque place with a beautiful second floor, obviously old living area of the original floor. The Strip Steak and Pork Tenderloin were great, but the Brussel Sprouts were the main event! We will definitely come back.
I came here with my wife for dinner after a day of visiting various coffee and doughnut shops, lunch places, and bier halls. We've been planning to visit this place for a while, but finally got an opportunity. My only complaint is how fast it felt like the meal went by. However, the service was top notch, and the food was some of the best I've ever had. I will be visiting this place again, and recommending it to anyone I meet.
Showed up here (without reservations) for dinner. My wife has an an almost unimaginable list of food allergies/sensitivities. She can 't have soy, gluten, rice, any other grains or beans, mango or mushrooms. We are basically a chef and server 's nightmare. Despite all this, the kitchen managed to cook her a custom dish that was delicious (and to which she had no reaction-a constant fear when we eat out these days). They even helped us find a dessert she could have (an amazingly delicious panna cotta). Todd, our server was amazing and the manager (Nicki) went above and beyond to ensure we could just relax and have a normal meal. I had the farro vegetarian dish and it was indescribably yummy. Before all of my wife 's allergies developed/became evident about a year ago, we used to be foodies and fine dining is something we both really miss. Thanks to a great team for a magical and long overdue date night.
The best brunch I've ever had was at a lovely spot in Montreal, Le Avenue. Nothing so far has come close until today! Reed's is by far the best brunch I've had in the US! The latte was decadent stout but not overpowering. The croissant sandwich was divine- prosciutto is hard to get right, and they nailed it. Crisp but still soft enough to chew . The strawberry pancakes were a hit with our 2 year old and the chorizo omelet was absolute heaven. Wish we lived closer, as we would be Sunday regulars!
Amazing food! The beef cheek was exceptional and the octopus pasta was unexpectedly light in flavor, fantastic! The staff is wonderful, knowledgable and professional and always happy. I can't recommend this place enough.
