The food is not great, the service is terrible. I was really disappointed with the food. I ordered a chicken kiss. The meat was very low and not fresh at all. Plus in the cousin I found pieces of lamb, maybe left remains of one or more previous customers. Unfortunately no good experience...

Big Algerian restaurant one of the best I've ever eaten. Fantastic quality of ingredients with good recipes. Hosting was great and good value for money.

We had fresh appetizers that were very tasty. We often have Moroccan style couscous meals at home, so we thought 'd try the tagines for something else. We were not disappointed! Full taste large portions. My husband decided to go for the cousin when he saw one of the other diners serving a meal. It came in a beautiful couscousiere. The restaurant seemed to be a family affair, with a very attentive but discreet service. The bill was slightly higher than expected (110 euros for 4 of us, and our friends are used at Bulgarian prices) but that was probably on the drinks we added as the evening progressed! It was a nice evening, so we sat in the outdoor terrace. If we ever stay in St Lo again, we'll eat here in a definite way. Before our trip I had sent the restaurant by e-mail to check if they were open on Sunday night as most French restaurants seem to close. The owner had suggested that we book a table giving an arrival time. As it turned out, we soon came to St. Lo and arrived at the restaurant about an hour early. It wasn't a problem. Note: On the menu, it said tagines had to be ordered several hours in advance. We were not before the order, and the tagines were available, but it could be an idea to check on them when you book in advance.

Warm and friendly welcome for a full-flavoured lunch in a cool and quality decor of the products have delighted us as well as the quantity to finish the mint tea served with the smile thank you to the cook who came to greet us at the end of the meal do not change anything
