Bidrage med feedbackWe came over this restaurant that went towards Canisy. It seemed like the only place we found. We had not booked and stayed for a table of 4 and had luck!! Very happy. They were pretty busy. Well, I can only say that the food was Amazing. A fantastic Sunday dinner with delicious food a great service. Nothing was any trouble and lived the fact that all 4 of us were served our food with the domes, and they were all taken from fat at the same time to reveal our main courses. We had something else. Crevettes moules and foie gras to start. Then Scallops fish lamb and Veal kidney for main. Not one of us could damage our food and the price was so reasonable. If I were in the area, I would definitely come back.
I want to like La Petite Auberge, but I have some reservations. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the food was acceptable, but not what it could have been. Those who had steak (on open fire in interiors that worked pretty good were... somewhat disappointed by it, although the lamb I had was good. The cheese (served in front of the desert was very nice in fact, and the free pour Calvados with coffee a beautiful touch (if not to any taste! Overall, it was a good house cooked meal. The other critics rated it well, and I'm sure they had a great time at our visit, although we were really well looked after, we left wondering what the foot was about.
On the outskirts and on the edge of the road, the restaurant does not pay a mine, the interior is modest but it is a very good gourmet restaurant! cocktails without alcohol and with alcohol cheap and very good: a zombie for lady and a sex on the beach for gentleman. shrimp tails, scallop shells and its dippoe sauce, creamy foie gras, terracotta with delicious chimney fire. cheese tray and it's rare today. Enjoy good/very good chocolate. service is very good, discreet and effective. We recommend.
Nice setting and friendly service, that's all! card to 34 euros seductive but the arrival in the plates is disappointing: despite an effort in the presentation it's too fat (potato turkeys), insipid sauce, and too cooked (veau juice) ; the lost bread with caramel too cooked so bitter. the locust glass 2012 in aperitif, we forget because very any meal too expensive for a very average quality
C is an excellent address with a very pro reception of very high quality dishes with a very good presentation and choice fish duck meats and very good dessert to test
