Restaurant Chateau De La Barbiniere

Wow! Off the beaten track but worth making the effort... very pretty setting; Chateau and gardens immaculate. Staff very friendly, food sublime both in presentation and taste. Will definitely be coming back!

The Chateau is a great little find with food and a wine list to impress. I had the the beef fillet and a bottle of burgundy on my first night and they were both superb. The service is fantastic and the staff make you feel welcome like your in someone's home. Breakfast is traditionally French with mixed meats, croissants, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon that will leave you wanting it day after day. You will love this place and love this restaurant.

We stayed for three nights in the rooms in the grounds of the chateau and not in the chateau itself. We found the exterior beautiful however the interior was a clash as it was too modern with cheap Ibis like furniture. Colours used were greys and purples, not very nice. What a shame not to go for more beautiful and appropriate decor for this lovely chateau. Great location if you are visiting the theme parc Puy du Fou.

We were at the Chateau de la Barbiniere for a night at the end of June. Our meal was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent as well. The breakfast the next morning was also very good.

Très déçu par ce restaurant. Très mauvais qualité prix avec 2 boles de frites en accompagnement pour 5 personnes. Arrivé et réservé pour 20h45, nous avons mangé le plat à 22h30. Oui oui, 22h30 en ayant réservé pour 20h45. Viande bonne certes mais service extrêmement long et de médiocre qualité...Passe votre chemin
