Bidrage med feedbackOn a warm evening I discovered this little gem. A little hidden away located above st level behind a hotel but well worth it. I had several different dish's and enjoyed them all. The restaurant is part of a chain of 3 and I have been to all 3 and they are all quite good and of similar standards.
We were very hungry but it was still one hour till opening. Mme Phok agreed to have us 30 minutes early, which was really nice. She made an effort to accommodate a gluten-free meal, which not all Asian restaurants are good at.The food itself was really nice. Spring rolls (nems) come with fresh vegetables. I had beef with fresh ananas (pineapple), which was actually served inside a fresh-cut ananas! Most unusual and enjoyable. There is take-out as well. Restaurant is on second level. Parking is not obvious, possibly parking at the CAP3000 and making a short walk is a good option. I could see this being our standard restaurant if we lived in the area.
We were staying in a near by hotel and we're looking for a good place to eat. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor, this you need to look up to find it. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The ambience was average. We tried the pho, which was tasty with a lot of meat in a small bowl. The spring rolls was also good. The ambience was average.
Just had a brilliant meal here with friendsVietnamese beef rolls to begin with served with a delicious dipping sauce Duck Cantonese with plain noodles and friend rice to follow.Toffee apple and ice cream for dessert.Mme. phok is a pleasurable place to dine. We didn't have a reservation and although it was really busy she seated us without fuss.2 bottles of Sancerre and a lot of beers. Followed by her cheeky shots of sake. We paid €180 for 5 of us to enjoy 3 course: excellent value.Lovely decor
Not very authentic chinese food. We ordered two claypot dish, one chicken and the other seafood. They both tasted the same.
