Thornton's Hometown Cafe - Saint Joseph

Great hometown menu and family service. It was our first time and we were treated as regular. That means a lot to me. Cup said full and I was offered a cup to go. A big cup that was great. The place was busy and I didn't feel like we waited very long. We'll be back.

The best country ever caught Steak. Eggs and ash-browns have made it right. If you like friendly attentive people and delicious food, this is your place.

Great food breakfast and lunch. You won't go wrong. Fair prices. Great friendly outgoing staff. If you are in town for a visit and want a great breakfast early lunch place downtown St Joe give them a try!

Second time in St. Joe, you have to go back to Thornton! We waited for a table because we had a bigger party, but this is expected. Food was great and there is a lot for the service was excellent. I have breakfast. The pancakes are the size of the plate!! Omelets and cookies and engraving were also wonderful.

Very much enjoyed breakfast this morning with my love in this rustic café. Had a wonderful breakfast. Everything was very tasty served hot and fresh from coffee to Gravy to the fresh blueberries and everything in between. Our waitress was excellent... She never let my hot fresh coffee meet at the middle of my cup and waited for us professionally and over the bar with courtesy. The cash register was a very sweet, nursing individual. She brought my gloves that fell between the pillow and the back of the seat on the floor. I couldn't come to them. But on her hands and knees she went to get her... she also went over and over the reputation of duty!! I highly recommend them. With service and food like this, everyone must take a lesson in excellence from this café!!
