Whirligig Brewing - Saint Johnsbury

Whirligig is always a delightful experience. Geoff, Debra, Max, and the rest of the staff always make us feel welcome. The variety of beer and sake is fantastic. The menu has significantly improved since they expanded their kitchen last year. Both lunch and dinner options are outstanding. Make sure to visit Whirligig if you're in St. Johnsbury - you won't be disappointed!

The delicious beers and freshly cooked, delicious food at this restaurant make it a gem. After a day of hiking, we stumbled upon this local spot and were impressed. Don't hesitate to give it a try - you won't be let down.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The beer here is fantastic, clearly brewed with care in small batches. I especially enjoyed the IPA. However, what truly made our visit special was the amazing staff. Jenna and Deb, thank you for your exceptional hospitality. Our visit to Whirligigs was unforgettable and we look forward to returning in the future!

Stumbled upon Whirligig Brewing with my husband this afternoon and so glad we did! Chill atmosphere, good beer selection (especially if you are a sour beer fan) and the food was not at all what you typically find at a brewery. And that was a major selling point for me. Loaded kettle potato chips with smoked in house shredded rib meat and raclette cheese outstanding!! Many other great choices including full on raclette with fingerling potatoes (maybe next time when it’s not 90 degrees out). Jeff, the owner, is both brewmaster and chef and uber talented at both. Max, the bartender, was friendly, personable and attentive. Seriously a great experience overall. Highly recommend!
