Pub Down Under - Saint John

Highly recommended for delicious meals at great value, with the added bonus of a selection of good beers. Live music is also featured on some evenings. The bacon Cheeseburger Poutine was a standout dish that I absolutely loved.

This is a great little place! Great service, great food and cheap! We had Veggie Nachos, a garden salad - everything tasted so fresh! And beer broke fish and chips. The chips were okay, but beer was wonderful. Great portions too!

This restaurant offers a delicious breakfast and outstanding service. For $13, you can enjoy 2 eggs, 3 different types of meat, homemade toast, and hashbrowns. The value is unbeatable. We will definitely return to this place when we are in Saint John!

Waited almost an hour to get waited on for food service after being served a beverage when we set down. Waitress claimed she didn’t see us. We should have just left but we were in the hotel next door and really didn’t want to drive....I wish we had left because the food was a big disappointment. Just save yourself the dissatisfaction and skip this place.

I went here twice to eat while staying at the Holiday Inn which shares the same building. The food was good. Standard pub fare. I had a good plate of fried clams one night and a cheeseburger on the other and enjoyed both. On weekend...nights, they have live music. The staff was especially friendly and helpful. The Pub Down Under made my visit that much more enjoyable.
